Durante um mês percorremos, numa carrinha de guerra, as estradas da Austrália. Melhor dizendo, percorremos uma pequena parte deste país colossal.

Estou a escrever as minhas impressões sobre a nossa viagem e hei-de partilhá-las com vocês, mas para já - e como prometido - vou deixar-vos algumas imagens.

Hoje ficam aqui algumas das aves que fomos observando. Uma das coisas que mais nos impressionou foi a profusão de diferentes sons que ouvíamos quer nos jardins urbanos quer nas florestas, principalmente ao nascer e ao pôr-do-sol. E tenho a certeza que só nos apercebemos de uma ínfima parte dos pássaros que povoam os estados por onde andámos...

For a month we travelled the roads of Australia in a "war" van. Correction: we travelled around a small part of this enormous country.

I'm writing my impressions about our trip and I'll share them with you, but for now - and as promised - I'll leave you some pictures.

Today here are some of the birds we watched. One of the things that impressed us most was the profusion of different sounds we heard either in the urban gardens or in the forests, especially at sunrise and sunset. And I'm sure that we only noticed a tiny proportion of birds that inhabit in the states where we went...
