Há umas semanas encontrei-me do outro lado.

O we blog you.

One of the things I like more about having a blog is meeting new people. Thanks to my first blog (only in portuguese), I have met - in flesh and blood - amazing and inspiring people, who - for many months - have accompanied me through comments and emails, and that at a given moment won a face and a voice. And how nice is to talk for hours with someone new but with so much in common with us, right?

A few weeks ago, I found myself on the other side. I met two wonderful and inspiring people I was following, for a few months, through the blog they created.

When I started my first blog, I knew absolutely nothing about whatever it had to do with the blogosphere (including this term...). And by trial and error, a lot of research on the net, and tips from bloggers (who have blogs about making blogs...) I had not only improve but I fall for this new world, too.

When, after a pause, I decided to start over, I had a different attitude toward blogs and also a clearer idea of what I wanted for mine, mainly at an aesthetic level.

In my research for tips to improve the blog, I came across with a portuguese blog about blogs (when the usual are the ones in english), fresh and beautiful: we blog you. And, top of all, full with useful tips! And I began to follow it (almost) daily, and become an admirer of Raquel and Fred work.

So when I had the opportunity to attend to one of their workshops, I was excited, not only because the content interested me greatly, but - I confess - also because I would meet the people behind one blog that I admire!

And the expectations were not dashed. I was lucky to have 11 committed and enthusiastic colleagues, we've been at home in a beautiful space: Cru, I learned so much (so, so much!), had lots of fun and of course, Raquel and Fred were all, and even more, what I expected: vibrant, sweet and available.

The two day workshop was too short...
