Que boa surpresa me esperava na varanda! Antes de partir, arranquei deste vaso os últimos pés de rúcula espigada e deixei a terra a repousar para as próximas sementeiras. Quando cheguei encontrei novos e vibrantes rebentos.

What a nice surprise was waiting for me on the balcony! Before leaving, I pulled out from this pot the last and spindly arugula stalks and left the soil to rest for the next sowing. I arrived and found new and vibrant sprouts.
