"still alice"

Graças a uma amiga fui à ante-estreia de Still Alice (o título português "O meu nome é Alice" não é tão conseguido).

É um filme belo, terrível, assustador, comovente, arrepiante. Eu sei, são muitos adjectivos... Mas ao mesmo tempo as palavras não me parecem suficientes.

Há uma actriz lindíssima, sensacional no papel de uma mulher inteligente, forte, realizada.

Há uma doença aterradora que invade uma família "normal", feliz, alterando - gradual mas radicalmente - o seu rumo, a sua história.

E há a (nossa) constatação do quão frágil é a mente humana. Mas também do quão forte é.

Se ainda não viram, vão ver. E levem lenço...

Thanks to a friend I went to the "Still Alice" premiere.

It's a beautiful, terrific, frightful, touching movie. I know, too many adjectives... But, at the same time, words don't seem enough.

There is a beautiful, amazing actress in the role of an intelligent, strong, successful woman.

There is a terrifying disease that invades a "normal", happy family, changing - gradually but radically - its course, its history.

And there is (our) realization of how fragile is the human mind. But also of how strong it is.
